Cool painted art bus in Panama City.

Public bus in a parking lot in Panama City.

The traffic of the capital city of Panama. This area of town meant to hold a capacity of 10,000 people, but its population is now over 30,000. Many of these people also drive cars.

The skyline of Panama City.

Panama food: friend chicken, plantains, fried dough, and a hard boiled egg.

These photos were taken in the spring of 2008 as I traveled in Central America from Panama City to Mexico. Panama is by far my favorite capital city in this region; it is just a cool place.

The ruins of Panama Viejo.

An old fortification of the old city.

Boat passing through the Panama Canal. I hear that it costs $100 for a passenger to cross from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

Old building of Casco Viejo.
